Check out our videos and hear from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander voices on the frontlines, as they fight to stop fracking Seed creates spaces and opportunities for First Nations communities and those on the frontline to be central in the creative storytelling, community conversations and climate solutions for a just climate future.

Water is Life

Water is Life is a documentary about Aboriginal communities fighting against fracking plans in the NT. They learn from First Nations brothers and sisters in the US who are suffering the effects of greedy gas companies, and call on you to join their fight.

Did you hear about the Kimberley Roadtrip?

At Seed, we know how essential it is for communities experiencing the impacts of the climate crisis to be leading the fight, which is why we’re prioritising conversations with communities in the Kimberley. Earlier this year, we embarked on a trip across the East and West Kimberley to meet with mob on the frontlines of extractive industries and climate impacts.

Across two weeks we travelled to Broome, Derby, Fitzroy Crossing, Kununurra, and Wyndham. We spoke to local radio stations, organisations, and community members about the climate impacts they’re already experiencing and sharing information about the risks of fracking and the corporations who plan to frack and profit off, their country.

Standing Together to Protect Country

This powerful short film that captures the strength of First Nations communities as they stand united in the fight to protect their Country, culture, and climate. Through inspiring stories of resistance and resilience, this film showcases the leadership of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander youth and their commitment to defending Country from the destructive impacts of fossil fuel projects.

Dangers of Fracking

Communities across the NT are terrified at the prospect of the fracking industry destroying water, land, and community health. We are calling for a permanent ban on fracking to protect communities from the dangers of shale gas fracking.

Extractive industries like fracking are destroying our Country, threatening our water, health, cultural heritage, and climate. Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities are already on the frontlines of climate change, enduring rising seas, habitat loss, extreme heat, floods, and bushfires. We demand an end to fossil fuel extraction and call for a just transition to renewable energy that benefits our communities and protects our land.
