Stop Origin Energy Fracking our Future
Fossil Fuel companies need to be held responsible for their actions. When we heard Origin Energy was looking to support fracking Country and communities, we used our collective power to encourage customers to divest, and change providers if Origin went ahead with their plans. As a company, they rely on their customers to make billions of years a year from gas, electricity (and internet) sales, which means they really care what you think. As a result, Origin denounced their 100% to frack the Beetaloo Basin in the Northern Territory.

Power Shift Leading Change
Power Shift was a three-day youth climate summit focused on inspiring young people from all walks of life to take action against climate change. Hosted by the Australian Youth Climate Coalition and Seed Indigenous Youth Climate Network, we doubled the size of our volunteer network, and it was the largest ever recorded gathering of First Nations People on the issue of climate change.
By listening and working alongside communities on the frontlines of the causes and impacts of climate change, we will shift the power to First Nations people to lead the solutions for a safe and just climate future for all.
We demand a total ban on fossil fuels and a just transition to renewables. Fracking irreparably damages our water, country, health, cultural heritage and climate. Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities are already impacted by rising seas, habitat loss, extreme heat, flooding, and fires caused by a warming planet.
Stop Fracking in the Kimberley
Seed focuses on community led campaigns for climate justice where we educate, inspire, and connect Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people, equipping them with the skills and support to organise their communities and take action on climate justice. Together, we’re working to stop the rollout of oil and gas projects on Country, while building a movement that unites communities and leverages their collective power, for change.
Seed stands for climate justice
Seed Mob is community-led, together we run powerful campaigns to protect Country and build climate justice by organising and working with First Nations communities on the frontlines of fossil fuel projects. Together, we lead actions targeting decision makers by mobilising our network and supporters to act in solidarity in the fight for climate justice.
